Grandma, Lila, Blake, James and Isabel It’s hard to get them all to smile at the same time
James and Lila are so blessed. I always knew having a family was in my plans. I never knew raising a family would be this great. Thank you Kory, I am so happy to be sharing this experience with you. James and Lila will soon thank you too as they grow and experience the wonderful joy you bring them. Kory and I spent father’s day weekend in Duluth running Grandma’s half marathon. A great accomplishment. This picture was taken the weekend before at a race in Goodhue.
In June we celebrated with cousin Whitney her graduation from Zumbrota High School. Whitney will be attending University of Wisconsin-Stout this fall. We are looking forward to hearing from Whitney all about her first semester. We wish you the best Whitney.
On June 12th we took James and Lila to their first Minnesota Twins game. It was a wonderful day, so great to watch baseball in an outdoor stadium. James and Lila were so good. The next game we might have to buy some peanuts and cracker jacks to keep them entertained.
The family is now even. On May 29th James and Lila welcomed their new cousin; Blake William. In seven months time the family has grown from zero to four; Lila , Isabel, James and Blake. Isabel is eight months old she is my sister Karla and her husband Paul’s first daughter. I am excited to watch them grow up together.
